Parents Get A New Understanding
Nobody Ever Told Me to Love Myself ...
gives parents a chance to peek over a teenager's shoulder and tiptoe away
with a strong,
new understanding of young people.
The wise parent will slip off to a quiet corner
and think.
I don't see how anyone, young or old, can read (this book)
and not be moved or improved.

The Message Got Through
My daughter was bored Sunday afternoon and I had to go to work,
so I threw
her my copy of Nobody Ever Told Me to Love Myself
and said, “Read this and I’ll be home by the time you’re
finished.”
When I cam home she was sitting in the carport crying her eyes out.
She wouldn’t stop crying. I was worried. I aksed her, “Who has been
hurting you?
Was it your brother? Was it your sister?
Tell me. Who is it that has hurt you?
She finally answered me through her tears, “I just found out it’s me.”
When
she calmed down she told me that when she read
Nobody Ever Told Me to Love Myself she finally heard
all
the things I have always tried to teach her.
Thank you for saying what I wanted
her to know in a way that she could hear it

A Self-Help Book Even Teens and Tweens Will Enjoy
Every
adult who has wanted to pass self-help philosophy on to young people
will want
a copy of
Nobody Ever Told Me to Love Myself.
Through it's delightful simplicity, self-help knowledge
is rendered more useful than ever.

There is a real shortage of good, meaningful books for teenagers today.
We have
books on self-realization for adults.
But, sadly, we have few for those who need
it most -
tomorrow's mothers and fathers!
It is difficult to judge how big an
impact Nobody Ever Told Me to Love Myself will have upon their lives.
It is my hope that the
seeds of new thinking will have been planted in their consciousness.

Truly Entertaining
Nobody Ever Told Me to Love Myself
makes you laugh, and cry,
and remember to choose peace of mind for yourself.
Margot Curtis, Manager, Unity Bookstore |
Nobody Ever Told Me to Love Myself is a delightful book
with the practical message of how to raise your self-worth
and find peace of mind by using your power of choice.
This book is written from
the viewpoint of a teenager
whose humorous thoughts will make you laugh out loud
....and
remember to overcome problems as she does.
Al Reed, Minister |
One of the reasons I liked the book is because it sounds like you've gone through
many of the situations that I've gone through.
I have learned from your book
that I can control my thoughts
and how I handle my problems.
It will take
me a while to do so because I'm a very bad tempered person and I have a hard time
trying to control my emotions. Also, I don't have much self confidence, but I
will TRY.
As a matter of fact, I WILL follow in your footsteps because I'm
going home for good in two and a half weeks so I'll need the support!

Boys Enjoy the Journal,too
Many girls feel like they're reading their own emotional diary,
while boy's
love reading
what goes on
in a girl's mind and
they relate to George, the older brother,
who is somewhat of a hero in the story.
My
brother has been so much nicer since he read
Nobody Ever Told Me to Love Myself.
Now he thinks he's
just like her brother George, you know,
wise and mature and the world's best brother.
It's really been great for me.
