The Message Got Through
My daughter was bored Sunday afternoon and I had to go to work,
so I threw her my copy of Nobody Ever Told Me to Love Myself
and said, “Read this and I’ll be home by the time you’re finished.”

When I cam home she was sitting in the carport crying her eyes out.
She wouldn’t stop crying. I was worried. I aksed her, “Who has been
hurting you? Was it your brother? Was it your sister?
Tell me. Who is it that has hurt you?

She finally answered me through her tears, “I just found out it’s me.”

When she calmed down she told me that when she read
Nobody Ever Told Me to Love Myself she finally heard
all the things I have always tried to teach her.
